Using of nanoparticles in Composite solid  propellant formulations has extended in recent years. Nano additives increases burning rate of these formulations and consequently improves performance, because of their high reactivity potential, high catalytic activity and high surface area to volume ratio. However, poor dispersibility  of nanoparticles leads to agglomeration in the binder and thus reduces their effectiveness. To reduce agglomeration and thus, achieving to good dispersibility of nanoparticles in the binder, dry mixing method is ineffective and methods such as premixing, metalic nano oxide support, sonication, predispersing and in-situ nano-assembly are effective.
