Non-destructive testing methods are used to detecting defects in materials and evaluation of materials properties without causing changes to their usable properties. They are applied in industry to provide the assurance of high quality for semi-manufactured products, final products, devices and materials. Except of many civilian applications they are widely used in rocket and aviation industry and also in many special military areas. In this paper, with attention the importance and benefits of quality control of solid propellants, a variety of non-destructive testing Including radiographic testing, ultrasonic testing and CT test is applied for this purpose are studied. The results of the study demonstrated the applicability of this method for nondestructive evaluation of solid propellant. Other methods, such as conventional nondestructive testing Penetrant testing and magnetic Particles test have also been studied. Penetrant Test methods for detection of surface imperfections of the solid propellants is applicable.
