Regression rate is one of the most important parameters in designing of hybrid rocket motors which is dependant into many factors like oxidant mass flux, grain length and chamber pressure. In this article, the effects of grain length and chamber pressure are considered besides of oxidant mass flux using HTPB-N2O lab-scale hybrid motor. Because of dependency of regression rate into three factors and due to reduce number of tests without missing precision, design of experiment, 23 factorial technique with 8 tests were designed and done. Using space and time averaging method for each test and based on the results, regression rate was obtained r ̇=〖0.423 G〗_ox^( 0.544) 〖 L〗^( -0.218) 〖 P〗^( 0.122). This equation states that despite of high effect of oxidant mass flux on regression rate, increasing the grain length up to one percent, causes 0.2 percent decrease in regression rate and also increasing the chamber pressure up to one percent, causes 0.1 percent increase in regression rate.
